How to order:
Email Susan your selection and she will promptly confirm its availability. Providing your zip code, you will receive a shipping estimate. This may vary from final exact shipping charge. The piece you receive will have slight variations from those shown on this site, in color, size or shape. Custom color, matching your swatches, is available for an extra fee. Most pieces may be ordered in a variety of colors.

Caring for your order: Each individually handcrafted design with reeds may be hand rinsed in cool water and air dried. Designs with handmade paper should be dusted only, without water. Functional pottery, without fiber, is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, and must not be put through drastic temperature changes. Each piece is lead free and food safe. All wall pieces are made ready to hang.

Wedding gift registry is available.

Payment: Master, Visa, and Discover cards and personal and business checks are accepted. You may order by phone or fax. You will receive a call to confirm your order and for you to provide credit card details. You will also get a shipping date. Many pieces are available for immediate shipping. Others will take 3-8 weeks to create for you. All orders will be prepaid prior to shipping, with estimated shipping charges added to your order.

Shipping: Shipping is UPS ground, and can vary from $10-$75, in the continental US, depending on your order, size and weight of box and zip code. Larger orders may cost more. You will be charged exact UPS charges. There is no packing charge for individual orders. All boxes are insured for full value. If an art piece arrives damaged, you must keep the original packaging materials, call UPS and notify Susan, ASAP. When UPS authorizes the claim, Susan will send you another piece.

Returns: Since these pieces are custom created just for you, Susan maintains the right to refuse a return. Call to discuss.

Tax: Virginia residents will be charged 5.0% sales tax. If you have a resale number, it must be provided at the time of ordering.

Creating a custom piece for you is an exciting process!

The following is needed to create the best pieces for your environment:

  1. Pictures of the area where you want the piece installed & other pictures of the room

  2. Dimensions –height, width and depth where the artwork will be displayed

  3. Swatches –fabric, carpet, paint chips or other samples of the room

  4. Your priorities- design preferences be it contemporary, traditional, beachy, and any other information as to what appeals to you.

$100. Consultation Fee –
gives Susan the “OK” to provide you with artwork proposals. When a proposal is approved, this fee is credited to you first deposit.

50% Deposit –required to start your commission. This deposit is non-refundable.

50% Due upon completion of your order plus shipping & packing fee–upon payment your order will be shipped.

DC metro area residents: I am happy to do “house calls” to discuss your commission based on a $60 an hour consultation fees.
